Twitter is up and running. Marybeth is up and editing! YAY me!!!

I am not sure there will actually be a blog on here, as I already have one up and running at Desperately Searching for My Inner Mary Poppins, but I am hoping to have a News Feed.

Is there anything YOU would like to see on this site? Let me know, we’ll make it happen. (Didn’t I tell you my husband was a Website Super Hero yet? Cuz he is!!!) Is there anything you don’t like about the site? Let me know, I’ll look into it. (Cuz it’s all his fault…being a man and all… LOL … *he’s bound to edit this part*)

Well we hope you enjoy the layout and can’t wait to have the entire site up and running. I have a feeling there may be a FEW people ready to read my book synopsis…but I could be wrong!

    JM81: Thanks for the feedback!

Unfortunately, transparent .png images, like the ones used in this site, are not supported by IE version 6. A lot of work computers still use this version. That is probably what caused the display problems. I have looked into this, and the time required to correct this is pretty enormous. For now, I’ve installed a warning message for unsupported browsers. Might be a fix for the future though.

Great stuff!! I love your Twitter feed about the screaming mom. 🙂

  3. Love it, Marybeth!

I’m tempted to do some major &!#$% words to test your swear word filtering, but knowing my luck it wouldn’t work and… yeah. LOL. No good would that be! (now is THAT for a passive sentence!)

  4. I do say, old chap, I did enjoy the smiley guy with the monocle next to my post 🙂

  5. So LOVING the little faces next to all the commentors! Keep on rocking it out Tobby!

Thanks for all the kind comments. Feel free to point out any flaws as well 😀

  6. Looks fantastic!! I totally didn’t get the full effect from my work computer…. almost completely different. The cool pics and detail on the sides of the site were almost totally cut off on my work comp….and the section titles like “My Twitter Feed” looked highlighted in light blue and were tough to read. But from my home comp it’s not that way and it’s even awesomer! Nice job!

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Just added swear word filtering, still need to add the new snazzy slider on the homepage, fix some minor formatting issues, and add a ton of content (Hopefully, which Mary will be doing soon).

If you encounter any issues, please let me know as soon as possible, so I get to fixing them.

  8. I’m kinda groovin’ on the new diggs here. Very nice!
Easy to read and navigate…that always helps.

Also, don’t forget to leave any feedback about display problems or things that don’t work.

    Thanks,

    Tobby
